Electrons rush in
Cathodoluminescence
And the glow begins

Dr. Donald Marshall has retired from the business of manufacturing the RELIOTRON cold-cathode "optical" cathodoluminescence system, although he remains available for consultation and conversation. His associate of the past three+ years, Dr. Timothy Allen, will continue on in the business of manufacturing, selling, and servicing of cathodoluminescence petrography systems and accessories.

For inquiries about purchasing new or refurbished CL instruments, or service, repair, or parts for CL instruments (RELIOTRON and others), please contact Dr. Allen at tim@relionscientific.com or +1-603-209-9222 (voice or text), or visit http://relionscientific.com/.

Don continues to be available for consultation, discussion, or just plain conversation. You can reach him at dmrelion98@gmail.com or +1-781-275-0637.

Company Profile

RELION Industries, LLC, is located in Bedford, MA, USA, which is just outside the city of Boston. The principal, Dr. Donald J. Marshall, has been associated with cathodoluminescence instrumentation and with the applications of CL in geology, archaeology, ceramics and glass industry, and phosphor research for many years.

RELION offered CL instrumentation — the RELIOTRON — and also provided servicing and spare parts for the CL instruments provided by most other manufacturers.

The RELIOTRON, servicing, and parts, are now provided by Relion Scientific LLC, the successor to RELION Industries, LLC.
